Assistant Plant Manager

About the Role:
Embark, a leading provider of plant hire services, is seeking an experienced Assistant Plant Manager to join our outstanding team. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a high standard of service to clients and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service through great telephone manner and building lasting relationships with repeat customers.
- Take inquiries, provide and follow up on quotations, and handle on and off-hire calls.
- Liaise with service and transport departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Raise contracts on our bespoke IT system and perform filing and admin tasks.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hire controller, senior hire controller, hire assistant, hire manager, hire desk manager, hire coordinator, rental manager, assistant manager, or assistant branch manager role within a tool or plant hire company.
- A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and excellent time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and IT literacy.
- Ability to undertake other duties, including driving, as required.
