Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at One Healthcare Partners Limited. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of pharmacy services in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Clinical Pharmacist in providing an excellent medicines management service to the ward and day surgery.
  • Undertake POD checks, medicines reconciliation, and patient counselling to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Pharmacist to assist in delivering an excellent pharmacy service to all service users.
  • Supervise the Pharmacy Dispenser to ensure stock needs in the departments and dispensary are met.
  • Participate in regular pharmacy audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3, BTech or equivalent qualification in pharmacy services.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • At least 1 year of hospital experience post-qualification as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Experience in medicines management, stock control, and dispensing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Dispensary management experience.
  • Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
