Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at One Healthcare Partners Limited. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of pharmacy services in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Clinical Pharmacist in providing an excellent medicines management service to the ward and day surgery.
- Undertake POD checks, medicines reconciliation, and patient counselling to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Clinical Pharmacist to assist in delivering an excellent pharmacy service to all service users.
- Supervise the Pharmacy Dispenser to ensure stock needs in the departments and dispensary are met.
- Participate in the development of the pharmacy service, including training of the multi-disciplinary team and participation in regular pharmacy audits.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3, BTech or equivalent qualification in pharmacy services.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- At least 1 year of hospital experience post-qualification as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience in medicines management, stock control, and dispensing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
