Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Van Service Advisor to join our team at Motus Truck & Van. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that our customers receive a warm welcome and a seamless experience throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet Customers and Provide a Warm Welcome
  • Listen to Customer Concerns and Accurately Document Vehicle Issues
  • Utilize Mechanical Knowledge to Assess Vehicle Problems and Recommend Necessary Repairs or Maintenance
  • Provide Accurate Estimates for Repair Costs and Timeframes
  • Upsell Additional Services or Products that May Benefit the Customer's Vehicle
  • Coordinate with Technicians to Ensure Timely Completion of Repairs
  • Keep Customers Informed about the Status of Their Vehicle Throughout the Repair Process
  • Handle Cash/Card Transactions and Maintain Accurate Records of Payments
Requirements:
  • Positive Can-Do Attitude
  • Ability to Produce Work to a Very High Standard
  • Team Player Mentality
  • Awareness of Health and Safety Procedures/Policies
  • Previous Experience in a Customer Service Role, Preferably in an Automotive Setting
  • Strong Upselling Skills and Ability to Effectively Communicate the Value of Additional Services or Products
  • Solid Mechanical Knowledge to Accurately Assess Vehicle Issues and Recommend Appropriate Solutions
  • Experience Handling Cash Transactions and Maintaining Financial Records
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills with Ability to Build Rapport with Customers
