Service Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Van Service Advisor to join our team in Welham Green.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to our van service department
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle's issues
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assess vehicle problems and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance
- Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timeframes
- Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer's vehicle
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process
- Handle cash/card transactions and maintain accurate records of payments
- A positive can-do attitude
- The ability to produce work to a very high standard
- A team player mentality
- An awareness of Health and Safety procedures/policies
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive setting
- Strong upselling skills and the ability to effectively communicate the value of additional services or products
- Solid mechanical knowledge to accurately assess vehicle issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Experience handling cash transactions and maintaining financial records
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
