Position Summary:

As a Retail Sales Associate at Currys, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and promoting our diverse range of technology products. This position is a permanent part-time role, offering between 15 to 30 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours based on your availability.

Compensation starts at £11.50 per hour, with the potential to increase to £11.80 upon successful completion of your probation period, along with an average bonus of 89p per hour.

In this role, you will be trained comprehensively, regardless of your prior knowledge of technology, through a structured induction program that lasts two to three days, either online or at our training academy.


During this training, you will acquire essential skills and insights to effectively assist customers, ensuring they have a remarkable experience.


We provide opportunities for supplier training and product demonstrations, equipping you with the confidence to make informed recommendations to our customers.

Our Retail Sales Associates work flexible hours, including weekends, as our stores operate seven days a week, typically from 9 am to 8 pm, with variations based on local demand.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be expected to:
  • Engage customers by asking insightful questions to align them with suitable products.
  • Create memorable experiences for every customer interaction.
  • Provide information on support services such as delivery, installation, recycling, and payment options.
  • Contribute to the overall sales success of the store.
  • Collaborate across various departments and product categories.
Assist in the store's operational tasks to ensure smooth functioning.
