About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, specializing in Ambulatory Chemotherapy. This is a unique opportunity to lead a pioneering project, developing innovative care for pediatric and teenage patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a project plan for ambulatory chemotherapy services
  • Work closely with the project nurse and pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Supervise the medical care of patients on treatment and review outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with the inpatient and day unit teams
About the Department

The Paediatric Haematology and Oncology Department at Leeds Children's Hospital is a dynamic clinical, training, and research unit. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional care and pushing the boundaries of innovation in pediatric oncology and haematology.

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in pediatric specialties
  • Experience in pediatric oncology and haematology at HST level
  • Advanced life support certificate from the Resuscitation Council UK or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Full registration with the GMC and a current license to practice
