About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, a leading teaching hospital trust in Europe. As a Clinical Fellow in Ambulatory Chemotherapy, you will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative care pathways for paediatric and teenage patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a project plan for ambulatory chemotherapy services
  • Work with the project nurse and pharmacy team to develop and deliver ambulatory chemotherapy treatment
  • Supervise the medical care of patients on treatment and review outcomes
  • Communicate with the inpatient and day unit team to ensure seamless care delivery
About the Department

The Paediatric Haematology and Oncology Department at Leeds Children's Hospital is a dynamic clinical, training, and research unit. We offer regional and supra-regional expertise and have a strong commitment to innovation and excellence in patient care.

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in paediatric specialities
  • Experience in paediatric oncology and haematology at HST level
  • Advanced life support certificate from the Resuscitation Council UK or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Full registration with the GMC and a current licence to practice
