Job Title: Ambulatory Chemotherapy Clinical Fellow

Leeds Teaching Hospitals is seeking a Clinical Fellow in Ambulatory Chemotherapy to join our Paediatric Oncology and Haematology team. The successful candidate will work closely with the project nurse and pharmacy project lead to develop ambulatory chemotherapy for our patients.

About the Role

The Clinical Fellow will be responsible for developing a project plan for the ambulatory chemotherapy service, implementing the plan, and supervising the initiation of ambulatory treatment. They will also supervise the medical care of patients on treatment and review outcomes after each course has been administered.

About the Team

The Paediatric Oncology and Haematology team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals is a dynamic and innovative unit that provides regional and supra-regional expertise. The team is committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients and is passionate about improving patient outcomes.

Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • At least 4 years experience in paediatric specialities
  • Experience in paediatric oncology and haematology at HST level required for the project leadership
  • Advanced life support certificate from the resuscitation council UK or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in UK
