Position Overview

Gtd Healthcare, a leading provider of NHS commissioned Primary and Urgent care services in North West England, is seeking a dedicated Staffing Coordination Specialist to enhance our Workforce Planning Team.

The Staffing Coordination Specialist will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, administration, coordination, and allocation of personnel resources to fulfill service demands. This role involves close collaboration with various team members across the organization to ensure optimal staffing levels and seamless service delivery.

The ideal candidate will engage with multi-disciplinary teams within Gtd Healthcare to guarantee that the scheduling and planning of personnel align with operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for the overall planning, administration, coordination, and allocation of staff resources to meet service requirements, ensuring that all services are adequately staffed.
  • Execute role responsibilities in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Workforce Scheduling and Planning Team.
  • Manage shift coverage for assigned personnel, adhering to policies and guidelines for annual leave allocation.
  • Update and modify scheduling systems to ensure optimal resource utilization based on service needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a rolling three-month overview of staffing quotas and ensure that contracted tasks are appropriately assigned.
  • Utilize data from the Workforce/Business Intelligence Team to conduct informed assessments of anticipated staffing levels, ensuring accurate advertisement of available shifts.
  • Partner with the Workforce/Business Intelligence Team and Transformation Office to capture new service requirements within the scheduling system.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to collect weekly staffing schedules and provide comprehensive resource assessments and recommendations for service provision.
