This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner or Children's Wellbeing Practitioner. We are seeking a skilled professional to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in an evolving service, delivering evidence-based early intervention for children and young people in education settings with mild to moderate mental health problems.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and deliver outcome-focused, evidence-based interventions in educational settings for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
- Work in partnership with children, young people, their families, and educators to develop plans for intervention and agreed support.
- Operate from an inclusive values base, recognizing and respecting the diversity of children and young people's needs.
- Undertake and record accurate assessments of risk and operate clear risk management processes in line with locally agreed procedures.
- Signpost referrals of children with more complex needs to a locally identified appropriate relevant service.
- Provide a range of information and support for evidence-based psychological treatments, primarily guided practice.
- Contribute to the development of individual or group clinical materials or training materials.

Requirements- Relevant EMHP Post Graduate Diploma qualification following the completion of a CYP IAPT approved training in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatment for Children and Young People (C&Y IAPT).
- Registration with relevant professional body.
- A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
