About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Support Team Practitioner to join our team in Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions in educational settings for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and deliver outcome-focused interventions in educational settings.
  • Work in partnership with children, young people, and their families to support their mental health and wellbeing.
  • Provide training and support to teaching staff to promote a Whole School Approach to mental health and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to ensure a high-quality service is provided.

Requirements

  • Relevant EMHP Post Graduate Diploma qualification.
  • Registration with a relevant professional body.
  • Experience of working in schools and with families.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative approach.
