About the Role

RG Consultancy is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a small, friendly finance team of a family-run business. As a part-time employee, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and enjoy flexible working hours to suit your needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase orders, delivery notes, and purchase invoices with accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Verify supplier statements and resolve any invoice queries with suppliers
  • Liaise with the purchasing department to resolve order queries and ensure smooth operations
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and answering phone calls
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Purchase Ledger or similar role
  • Proficiency in SAGE 50 is preferred, with CIS experience being highly desirable
