**Location:** South of England (with occasional international travel)
**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join our team in the South of England. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and repairing a wide range of products, including sorting systems, baling presses, shredders, and conditioners.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Install, commission, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment
- Provide PLC programming support to the electrical department as needed
- Manufacture control systems in the company workshop and install them onsite
- Support the workshop manager with various duties when site work is not available
- Travel to various locations, including international assignments, for unspecified periods at short notice
- Work overtime, including weekends and bank holidays, as required by the workload
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical engineering within a relevant industry
- Strong skills in PLC programming and a willingness to provide support in this area
- Flexibility to travel and work away from home, including international assignments
- Commitment to working overtime and on weekends when necessary
**What We Offer:**
- A competitive annual salary between £34,000 - £40,000
- Overtime available and paid at T1/2 when additional hours are worked
