About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Field, a leading player in the renewable energy sector. As a Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design of our battery sites, from origination to construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of multiple projects at various stages of development, working closely with internal teams and consultants to create site designs that meet our requirements.
  • Conduct health and safety reviews and evaluations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Produce a range of 2D drawings and plans, including concept designs, site plans, single-line diagrams, planning application drawings, land plans, and pre-construction information.
  • Develop 3D site design models using Civil 3D and Revit to calculate site levels and earthwork requirements, and create visualizations.
  • Review external designs and drawings to ensure they meet our standards and requirements.
  • Support the implementation of our internal data management system and ensure process compliance.
  • Train and share knowledge with other members of the design team.
Requirements
  • Degree in engineering (civils) or a related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in an engineering role, preferably in the energy storage industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
  • Experience with 3D software and design modeling.
