Certification Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Certification Engineer to join our team at ACS Performance. As a Certification Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage the product approval process from initial application through to completion of third-party certification.
- Coordinate and report on the Engineering Change Request system to ensure activities are managed and effectively completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain internal product audits schedule, perform all necessary duties as an internal auditor.
- Support senior quality staff during day-to-day quality control and quality assurance activities.
- Provide engineering support to operational departments ensuring consistent application of quality techniques.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to the integrated management system and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
- Review and enter ERP data relating to the quality function.

Qualifications:
- Essential: Level 4 Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical engineering principles
- Desirable: ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor (training can be provided)
Experience:
- Essential: Minimum of 2 years engineering or manufacturing experience.
- Essential: Minimum of 2 years quality assurance experience.
- Essential: Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Desirable: Experience in handling Approvals/Certification in a regulation driven industry
- Desirable: Internal auditing
Knowledge / IT Software:
- Essential: The ability to read and understand Technical and Engineering drawings.
- Desirable: Working knowledge of manufacturing systems
- Desirable: Working knowledge of engineering drawing package
- Desirable: ERP knowledge and experience.
