Job Title: Registered General Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team at Horizons, a residential transitional service for young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Job Summary:

As a Registered General Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, and provide support with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional clinical care to residents, including assessments, medication administration, and care planning
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Support residents with daily living activities, such as personal care and mobility
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive environment, promoting resident independence and well-being

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC Pin and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Experience working with individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
