Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at The Pavillion. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents, ensuring a high standard of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals to a high standard, adhering to food safety and hygiene guidelines.
  • Present meals in an appealing and appetizing manner, ensuring a positive dining experience for our residents.
  • Serve meals to residents, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a catering or food service role, preferably in a care or hospitality setting.
  • Food hygiene certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality food and service, while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
