Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical First Assistant/Scrub Nurse to join our Theatre department at Ramsay Health Care UK. As an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgical teams and delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position at Oaklands Hospital, where you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to surgical teams during operations
  • Assist with surgical procedures, including orthopaedic surgeries such as hip and knee arthroplasty
  • Work effectively in a team environment and independently, as required
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and patients
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient operating theatre environment

Requirements

  • NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip and knee arthroplasty
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
