Orthopaedic Scrub/SFA Practitioner

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub/SFA Practitioner to join our Theatre department at Oaklands Hospital, Salford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgeons during operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert scrubbing and surgical assistance during orthopaedic procedures
  • Work effectively in a team environment to ensure smooth operation of the theatre
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • 3 years minimum surgical scrub experience
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
