Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub/SFA Practitioner to join our Theatre department at Oaklands Hospital, Salford.

About the Role

As an Orthopaedic Scrub/SFA Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in the operating theatre. You will work closely with our experienced surgical team to ensure the smooth running of operations and provide a safe and efficient environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert scrubbing and surgical support during operations
  • Work effectively in a team environment to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain expertise and stay up-to-date with best practices
Requirements
  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • 3 years minimum surgical scrub experience
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
