Flagship Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our commercial department, you will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, taking full control of the projects and mentoring junior staff.
About the Role:
We are looking for a commercial professional with at least 5+ years of experience working in a commercial or procurement environment. You will have experience working in either Defence, Aerospace, or Public Sector, with a strong understanding of end-to-end procurement, sourcing, and contract management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from inception to completion, taking full control of the projects and mentoring junior staff.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Provide commercial guidance and support to project teams, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years of experience working in a commercial or procurement environment.
- Experience working in either Defence, Aerospace, or Public Sector.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement, sourcing, and contract management.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- MCIPS is preferred but not essential.
- Security Clearance is desirable.
