Care Home Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Home Manager to join our team at Davers Court, a vibrant and award-winning care home in Bury St Edmunds. As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff and ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and management for all staff employed in the home.
  • Promote a caring environment that meets the latest guidelines, best practice, and legislative requirements.
  • Ensure effective financial and commercial management of the home in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with relatives, residents, purchasers, and external agencies to build a positive reputation in the local community.
Requirements:
  • 2-3+ years of experience as a Home Manager (Essential)
  • Care of older people in a Residential and Dementia setting
  • Ability to control and manage a budget and accounts
  • Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Health and Safety Legislation
  • Ability to raise standards through innovation and new ideas
