About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Epworth Grange, a 41-place residential and dementia care home in Bury. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of care assistants to deliver exceptional care and support to residents
  • Support residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Help residents to participate in a wide range of activities that promote their health and wellbeing
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents
Requirements
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care
  • Experience of working in a care setting, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
