Palliative Care Specialist Nurse

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Palliative Care Specialist Nurse to join our team. As a Palliative Care Specialist Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based specialist Palliative Care advice to patients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-professional team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Manage a workload of patients with complex Palliative Care needs.
- Develop and provide training and education for the multi-disciplinary team to improve Palliative Care provision.
- Implement initiatives such as NICE guidance to improve Palliative Care.
Requirements:
- Current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
