About the Role

Hlx Life Sciences is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Product Innovation to lead our product development and innovation efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development of cutting-edge medical devices that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive product development strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team of product development professionals, including engineers, scientists, and project managers.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all product development activities are in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including 510(k) and CE mark filings.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including quality, regulatory, and marketing teams, to ensure that product development activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Utilize strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to overcome technical and business challenges.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development and innovation, with a strong background in medical devices.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, including 510(k) and EU MDR submissions.
