Job Title: Linux Software Engineer

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site work)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Software Engineer to join our team at Yolk Recruitment Ltd. As a Linux Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting software items used within our Hardware In The Loop (HWIL) facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software items to control mathematical models with input/output interfaces in real-time.
  • Develop software for performing data analysis and visualization.
  • Work on complex technical projects, collaborating with a small, multi-skilled team.
  • Experience with C, C++, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience developing within the Linux environment.
  • Proactive and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience integrating hardware and software.
  • Experience with multi-threaded software products.
  • Experience of driver-level software development.
  • Understanding of mathematical modeling concepts.
