Kenect Recruitment Belfast is seeking a skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join a reputable client located in Mallusk.
The primary objective of this position is to assist and facilitate the delivery of a confidential, efficient, and professional HR service while supporting the advancement and execution of departmental and organizational HR initiatives and projects.
Contract Details:
This role is initially offered on a minimum 5-month contract with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (dependent on experience).
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the smooth daily operations of the Human Resources team and assist with HR project work and initiatives as necessary.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of Human Resources policies, systems, and procedures in accordance with legislative updates and best practices.
- Oversee the complete recruitment process from initiation to conclusion.
- Support managers in conducting interviews for various roles, including short-listing CVs, advising on suitable questions and/or assessments for interviews, and taking part in interview panels.
- Facilitate and support relevant training for the organization, including onboarding sessions when necessary.
- Stay informed about developments in Human Resources, particularly regarding changes in employment legislation, case law, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proficient IT skills.
- CIPD Level 3 is desirable but not mandatory.
- Membership in the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development is preferred.
- A solid understanding of employment legislation and best practices in Ireland.
- Experience in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
- Experience in the Construction or Manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
