Senior Development Chemist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Chemist to lead our process development efforts in Cambridgeshire.

This role involves leading projects in small scale process development and scale up of fine chemicals, working closely with our Research, Production, and Quality Control teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing efficient process development strategies
  • Leading scale-up projects from laboratory scale to production
  • Ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate for research, development, and scale-up projects
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting equipment
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements
  • Training and mentoring junior team members

Successful candidates will have a degree or higher in Chemistry or Synthetic Organic Chemistry, with previous industrial experience in process development.
