Senior Development Chemist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Chemist to lead our process development team in Cambridgeshire.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading projects in small-scale process development and scale-up of fine chemicals. Your expertise will be essential in driving innovation and improving our chemical processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement small-scale process development strategies
  • Lead projects in scale-up from laboratory scale to production
  • Ensure all documentation is completed for research, development, and scale-up projects
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Research, Production, and Quality Control
  • Lead and train junior members of the team

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry or Synthetic Organic Chemistry
  • Previous industrial experience in process development
  • Strong knowledge of Organic Chemistry and Synthesis
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
