We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Matron to lead our Gynaecology services at the Royal London hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and leadership to our nursing operational services.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the Gynaecology nursing operational services, adhering to our WeCare values.
- Provide clinical expertise and visibility, including 8C ward, Gynaecology outpatients, Early pregnancy advisory services, Emergency Gynaecology services, and the newly developing community Women's Hub.
- Develop and implement clinical practice within the hospital, examining new trends and introducing innovation and excellence in clinical practice.
- Ensure nursing teams deliver effective patient care by providing excellent clinical and managerial leadership.
- Work closely with the Head of Nursing for Gynaecology services to improve patient experience and services.
- Ensure robust communication within Gynaecology services and multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide safe and high-quality care across services, ensuring agreed objectives and KPIs are met.
