About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Sales and Marketing Director to join our team at Simplify Recruitment Group. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing our global sales and marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a customer relationship management and sales process to optimize customer awareness of our existing and new product ranges, while improving customer service and communication.
  • Lead the development of our marketing team to ensure the successful delivery of our strategic plans over the next 5 years.
  • Establish and maintain a leading-edge social media presence to engage with our target audience and promote our brand.
  • Develop and launch new product ranges to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Build and manage a distributor/agent network in existing and new geographies to expand our global reach.
  • Provide regular sales and marketing reports to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Analyze sales patterns and incorporate insights into our planning and strategy.
  • Develop and deliver marketing and sales initiatives to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with corporate partners to develop and manage new relationships and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the long-term development of our organization, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified, with a postgraduate business qualification desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a B2B sales/marketing role at manager or director level, including experience in the UK-based SME sector.
  • Proven track record of sales and marketing experience, with a focus on high-end value products and technically complex products.
  • Experience of high-value, small-volume production in a niche market.
  • Experience of optical media-related products is a significant advantage.
  • Proven ability to run and build a team, with excellent communication skills.
  • International experience, with a demonstrable and proven track record of building sales in new geographies.
  • Experience working overseas or speaking a second language is an advantage.
  • Experience of successfully launching new product ranges.
  • Experience with dealership networks, both setting up and managing established dealers.

  • Annual salary up to £100,000 dependent on experience.
