**Global Sales and Marketing Director**

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Sales and Marketing Director to join our team at Simplify Recruitment Group. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our global sales and marketing strategy, driving business growth and expansion into new markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a customer relationship management and sales process to optimize customer awareness of existing and new product ranges, while improving customer service and communication.
- Lead the development of the marketing team to ensure the company's strategic plans are delivered over the next 5 years.
- Ensure the company has a leading-edge social media presence and develop a comprehensive social media strategy.
- Market and launch new product ranges, leveraging your expertise in product sales and marketing.
- Develop and manage a distributor/agent network in existing and new geographies, driving business growth and expansion.
- Create reports related to sales and marketing activities, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Understand sales patterns and incorporate them into planning, ensuring data-driven decision making.
- Develop, plan, and deliver marketing and sales initiatives, driving business growth and revenue.
- Work directly with corporate partners, developing and managing new relationships with key potential partners.
- Contribute to planning the long-term development of the organization, ensuring strategic alignment and growth.
Requirements
- Degree qualified, with a postgraduate business qualification desirable.
- 5 years or more experience in a B2B sales/marketing role at manager or director level, including UK-based SME experience.
- Product sales and marketing, and service provider experience.
- Product experience at high-end value, ideally technically complex products.
- Experience of high-value, small-volume production in a niche market.
- Experience of optical media-related products is a significant advantage.
- Experience running and building a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- International experience with a demonstrable and proven track record of building sales in new geographies.
- Experience working overseas or speaking a second language is an advantage.
- Experience of successfully launching new product ranges.
- Experience with dealership networks, both setting up and managing established dealers.
What We Offer
- Annual salary up to £100,000 dependent on experience.
- 30% bonus plus equity (130k OTE).
