Job Title: Warehouse Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team at Menzies Distribution. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of warehouse staff to ensure the efficient and effective distribution of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff to meet customer timescales and improve productivity and quality standards
  • Ensure team productivity targets are achieved and maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Provide training and coaching to staff to ensure they can undertake their duties effectively and efficiently
  • Manage the end-to-end warehouse functions and processes, including inventory management and shipping and receiving
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year's relevant working experience in a distribution or logistics environment
  • Proven track record of effective people management and leadership
  • Experience of delivering expanding operational KPIs and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Computer literate and comfortable working with technology
