Logistics Operations Manager

At HH Global, we are seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering logistical operations for a major global client across multiple continents.

The Logistics Operations Manager will work closely with the Logistics Director and HH Global account team to plan and execute campaigns, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of logistics services. This role requires a proactive approach to managing responsibilities, excellent experience in logistics management, and expertise in logistics management procedures and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and improve productivity, quality, and customer-service standards for the logistics function for the client team
  • Product handling and logistics requirements - implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures - complying with legal regulations, KPI's and ISO requirements
  • Work with logistics providers to plan and execute campaigns
  • Annual forecasting for logistics expenditures to drive cost and carbon reductions via proactive & alternative solutions where possible while always maintaining SLA's as a minimum

Requirements:

  • Proactive management of responsibilities
  • Excellent, recent experience within a logistics management role
  • Expertise in logistics management procedures and best practices
  • Experience in global POSM logistics
  • Organised, efficient, structured, focused and goal oriented
  • Flexible, dedicated, loyal and passionate for the job
  • Motivated, proactive, analytical and a proven problem solver
  • Confident with using Microsoft Office and be familiar with any other software pertinent to your industry
  • Experience of excelling within a fast paced, high energy environments
