Senior Estates Surveyor

We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a Senior Estates Surveyor to become a part of our Estate Management and Valuation services team based in Exeter. This role is ideally suited for a full-time, permanent position, requiring 37 hours of work per week, from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will oversee the negotiation and execution of property transactions, which include sales, acquisitions, leases, licenses, easements, and wayleaves. You will also handle rent reviews, valuations—specifically Local Authority Asset Valuations—rating appeals, and general estate management duties.
Your expertise will be vital in supporting the expansion and development of the Estates Surveying department as we secure new clients in both public and private sectors.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in a comparable role, whether in the public or private sector, complemented by:
- A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience as a General Practice Surveyor.
- Professional Chartered membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Real Estate discipline.
- RICS Registered Valuer status.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to engage and negotiate effectively with various internal and external parties.
- The capacity to work autonomously with minimal oversight or as part of a large, multidisciplinary team.
