About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and fully qualified Residential Conveyancer or Residential Property Lawyer to join our client's busy and supportive team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for running your own caseload of Conveyancing & Residential Property matters, including:
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and third parties regarding high-value freehold/leasehold, purchases, sales, and remortgage matters.
- Taking instructions, dealing with client queries over the phone and in person.
- Preparing, advising, and drafting necessary documents.
- Working proactively with another Conveyancing fee earner, you'll be working collaboratively with the wider equity release team as needed, offering guidance to less experienced staff members.
- Maintaining excellent file administration standards with a strong understanding of the relevant compliance required in this highly regulated area of law.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and fully qualified Residential Conveyancer or Residential Property Lawyer with at least 2-3 years' experience of fee earning and independently managing your own caseload within a residential property team. You will have good prior experience in a local or regional law firm or legal services company and be comfortable working collaboratively within a busy team environment, liaising directly with clients and third parties in the interests of progressing each matter.
You will possess excellent communication and client care skills, being professional, perceptive, and calm under pressure when working to deadlines and prioritizing your time. Prior experience in using a case management system would be advantageous, and you'll be keen to bring your insights and ideas to the firm, positively contributing towards the collegiate and collaborative environment this firm offers.
