About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Analyst to join our Financial Services Finance team at The Very Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of financial plans that align with our company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Strategic Business Plans: Collaborate with our leadership team and senior managers to create comprehensive business plans that drive growth and profitability.
  • Financial Modelling and Analysis: Design and implement financial models that provide accurate and timely insights into our business performance.
  • Commercial Insights: Provide expert analysis and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive commercial growth.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior business leaders and external partners.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A qualified accountant or part-qualified with exceptional skills and experience.
  • Financial Modelling Experience: Proven experience in financial modelling and analysis, with a strong understanding of financial accounting standards.
  • Commercial Acumen: Excellent commercial acumen and ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
