Job Description:

Accounting and Financial Management

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Accounting Systems: Maintain and improve accounting systems, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Assist in the development and implementation of financial plans and budgets, and provide financial guidance to management.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations, and identify and mitigate financial risks.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACCA qualified or qualified by experience in a senior accountant or assistant accountant capacity.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a group or multi-project business or accountancy practice.
  • Skills: Advanced Excel skills, knowledge of tax and VAT returns, and ability to analyze, evaluate, and identify accounting issues and control issues.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent organization and time management skills, ability to work as part of a small team, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
