Job Opportunity: Merchandising Assistant

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Hackett Merchandising team as a Merchandising Assistant. This role promises a diverse and thrilling experience, encompassing a range of responsibilities that will challenge and engage you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving Business: Generate weekly Monday morning analyses and ad hoc reports to identify commercial opportunities and risks promptly. Engage in discussions concerning previous season trade and its influence on the upcoming season's planning. Deliver end-of-season analysis to aid the Merchandise Director in formulating the business's range strategy.
  • Systems Management: Leverage available software tools to swiftly produce critical merchandising information. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from code creation to updating product drops, and maintain precise merchandising data within the system. Ensure accurate maintenance of selling prices in SAP. Embrace and adapt to new systems introduced to the business, such as Business Intelligence.
  • Brand Awareness: Develop an in-depth comprehension of the Brand's customer profile across diverse markets and regions. Identify and propose ideas to align product strategy with the brand profile. Regularly visit stores and competitors to discern potential risks and opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, especially adeptness in data manipulation using Excel, is essential.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
