About Park Hyatt London River Thames

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wine Lounge Supervisor to join our team at Park Hyatt London River Thames. As a Wine Lounge Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the wine program, providing exceptional service to guests, and driving beverage sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wine Program Management
    • Oversee the storage and rotation of wine inventory, maintaining optimal conditions for aging and serving.
    • Maintain knowledge of beverage inventory, including stocking and updating the '86' board.
  • Guest Service
    • Provide personalized recommendations and guidance to guests on wine selection, ensuring an exceptional and memorable dining experience.
    • Suggest and sell wine, wine tasting experiences, and non-wine products.
  • Beverage Sales and Service
    • Drive beverage sales on the floor by upselling, recommending, educating, and interacting with guests.
    • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine wine pairings for seasonal menus and special events.
  • Professional Development
    • Attend regular wine tastings and educational sessions to enhance your understanding of wine.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and new wine releases to continuously improve the wine program.
About You

We are looking for a candidate who is adept at multitasking and flexible, able to perform the duties of both Lounge Supervisor and Sommelier. Previous experience in a similar role within a fine dining establishment or luxury hotel is highly desirable. Additionally, a WSET Level 2 or 3 certification is advantageous.
