Job Description:

Are you looking for a rewarding sales career in the logistics industry? Our client, a leading freight forwarder, is seeking a dynamic Freight Sales Representative to join their team at their London Heathrow branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist with driving account acquisition and generating new leads in the air freight and ocean freight markets.
  • Engage with the client's internal network to assist with sales development and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage individual sales pipelines with a focus on air freight and ocean freight business.
  • Book and attend meetings with support of sales managers to drive business growth.
  • Actively engage customers with consultative sales techniques to provide mutual beneficial and positive customer experiences.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, preferably from an air freight and sea freight background.
  • Must be enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated, and looking to develop career progression.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales with a focus on logistics and freight forwarding.
  • Experience of working to achieve individual targets and generating own sales leads.
  • Extensive knowledge of air and sea logistics, including customs clearance and transportation management.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum.
  • Commission incentive on top of basic salary of up to 20%.
  • Monday to Friday working hours with flexible shifts to accommodate business needs.
