Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity has arisen within the clinical education division for an individual with administrative expertise, contributing to the Practice Education Team.

Salary: £21,730 - £23,177 per annum pro rata, part-time - hours per week.

The Practice Education Team collaborates closely with higher education institutions to ensure high-quality clinical placements. This role involves supporting clinical practice assessors, supervisors, and educators, assisting facilitators in delivering training and educational support to students and newly qualified professionals, and maintaining current training registers while ensuring compliance with security protocols for safe practice.

This position is designed to provide comprehensive administrative support to the designated directorate, with the flexibility to assist colleagues in other areas as needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facilitate the exchange of routine information to address understanding barriers, including:

  • Responding to requests for information
  • Managing correspondence
  • Providing routine advice based on expertise
  • Liaising with partner services and organizations
  • Preparing and completing standard documents

2. Exercise decision-making capabilities, such as:

  • Judging how to handle inquiries
  • Prioritizing tasks and resolving scheduling conflicts

3. Manage data entry and documentation, including:

  • Taking and transcribing formal minutes
  • Generating basic statistical reports
  • Maintaining information systems

4. Demonstrate an understanding of routine work procedures, guided by established policies and protocols relevant to the role.

5. Organize and plan tasks, activities, or programs, which may involve:

  • Maintaining effective filing systems and electronic databases
  • Coordinating work programs
  • Arranging meetings and managing diaries

6. Ensure proper management of stock control and resources, including:

  • Maintaining stock levels and issuing supplies

7. Conduct surveys or audits as necessary for your work.
