Workshop Composite Technician

British Airways is seeking a skilled Workshop Composite Technician to join our Aircraft Workshop Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and fabrication under the supervision of our experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks that fall within the scope of workshop authorization
- Conduct general visual inspections, detailed visual inspections, and other methods of surveillance inspection
- Issue Certificate Release to Service
- Develop and train knowledge share and provide coaching
- Perform PC-based documentary transactions as required
Requirements:
- Recognized engineering apprenticeship or equivalent
- Recognized education qualification, ie NVQ Level 3 or HNC
- Experience working in an aircraft maintenance environment as appropriate to hold workshop authorization
- Experience of working with SAP and production support processes
- Understanding of internal procedures and awareness of Quality, Health Safety, Human Factors, and Environmental legislative requirements
- PC literate and good understanding of BA Engineering IT systems
