About the Position

We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a skilled Regional Sales Executive to join our team at Selwood, focusing on business expansion and client engagement.

This position will enhance our existing Sales department. You will manage your designated area, promoting and cultivating profitable rental revenues through the establishment of strong local connections. With your in-depth expertise, you will guarantee that our clients receive a seamless and professional service, along with the most effective technical guidance and solutions tailored to their pump needs.

Your role will also involve identifying and maximizing revenue opportunities from key projects in the area by visiting customer sites and regional offices, developing client relationships, and nurturing these connections.

As a Regional Sales Executive, your responsibilities will include:

  • Acquiring a comprehensive understanding of our pump offerings and services, including staying updated on technological advancements and developments within the industry.
  • Expanding and nurturing local business, both by growing your own client portfolio and maintaining existing partnerships.
  • Collaborating effectively with operational, hire desk, and technical solutions teams within the organization.
  • Monitoring and managing client expenditure to forecast potential business growth in the coming years.
  • Identifying viable solutions for our clients by engaging with them early in their project planning to fully understand their requirements.
  • Overseeing all aspects of project management from inception to completion, including technical, installation, financial, and management components.
  • Creating and managing necessary quotations, balancing profitability with long-term customer relationships.

We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • Proven knowledge of strategies and methods for driving growth in a sales and rental-focused environment.
  • A track record of achieving results through direct engagement with customers and team members, establishing a clear framework for fostering profitable growth.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal, with the capacity to deliver professional and clear presentations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ensuring effective daily time management.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (including Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
  • IT competency, with experience in sales management systems and internal platforms.
  • A background in pump rental or sales is advantageous but not mandatory.

Please note that a valid UK driving license is essential for this role, as travel to customer sites will be required, including occasional overnight stays to maintain an active presence across the region.
