Lettings Negotiator - Job Summary

Magnus James, a specialist recruiter for the property industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lettings Negotiator to join their team. As a Lettings Negotiator, you will be responsible for negotiating lets between landlords and tenants, producing tenancy agreements, and monitoring tenant referencing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate lets between landlords and tenants, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • Produce tenancy agreements and monitor tenant referencing through to move-in
  • Assist with organizing repairs for the managed portfolio, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions
  • Process changeovers of tenancies and liaise with utility suppliers, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants
  • Book inspections and viewings, providing excellent customer service to clients
  • Handle general lettings enquiries, providing accurate and timely information to clients
  • Perform general lettings administration tasks, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records

Requirements:

  • Experience within a similar lettings negotiator role is advantageous, but not essential
  • Strong administration background and ability to liaise with the general public
  • Previous experience of using Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to drive and have access to your own vehicle, with a valid driver's license
  • Driven and keen to progress your career within the lettings industry, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service

  • Basic salary of up to £24,000, depending on experience
