Advanced Educator Children's Residential Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Gloucestershire County Council team as an Advanced Educator for Children's Residential Care. We are seeking an experienced professional to develop outstanding residential leaders and practitioners in our homes.
About the AcademyThe Social Work Academy is responsible for providing a welcoming and meaningful introduction to working in children's services, optimising the many attractions of working for Gloucestershire County Council. It also ensures that our staff receive the highest quality continuing professional development that impacts directly on improving the life experiences of children, young people, and families.
About YouWe are looking for someone with wide practice experience and proven ability to promote innovation and evidence-informed practice. You will have a professional social work qualification, or similar from a statutory background, and/or a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare. You will also need an ability to satisfactorily pass DBS requirements and a practice educator award is desirable but not essential for social work qualified applicants.
What We Offer- Salary between £45,441 - £48,474 per annum depending on experience
