Automation Project Coordinator

In response to our expanding operations, we are looking for an Automation Project Coordinator to oversee and manage the execution of our tailored projects. Our organization is dedicated to the design, development, and production of specialized machinery that caters to the distinct needs of our clientele. The role involves comprehending client requirements, formulating initial concepts, engineering the designs, and subsequently fabricating the automated solutions. We employ cutting-edge automation technologies, such as robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC control systems, to provide inventive solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities of the Automation Project Coordinator:

  • Lead and manage multiple concurrent automation and machinery development projects.
  • Create project timelines, plans, and budgets to ensure efficient and timely project execution.
  • Track project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement necessary corrective measures.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and address any concerns.
  • Guide and supervise mechanical fitters, panel wiremen, controls engineers, and software engineers.
  • Encourage a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring effective communication among team members.
  • Conduct team meetings to assess project milestones, tackle challenges, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Utilize technical expertise to comprehend customer needs and devise innovative solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements for all machinery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • A technical qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in an engineering or scientific discipline or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
  • Hands-on approach with a readiness to engage directly on the shop floor, overseeing project activities.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effectively engaging with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
