Our relief workforce is expanding, and we are looking for individuals to join us in providing essential support. The beauty of our relief positions is the flexibility they offer; you can choose your availability, and we will strive to match you with suitable shifts.

The Position

As a relief team member, you will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of care and support during staff training, holidays, and absences.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with disabilities and/or additional support needs in various aspects of their daily lives, including shopping, financial management, cooking, household tasks, and personal care. Additionally, you may engage in activities such as arts and crafts, gardening, cinema outings, dining experiences, swimming, dancing, and nature walks with those you support.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proactive attitude towards learning
  • Comfort with technology

No prior experience in care is necessary to join our team, as we prioritize values and transferable skills. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the practical knowledge required for this role. We will compensate you for your training and support you in obtaining your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification.

Work Schedule

We offer continuous support 24/7, which means our shift patterns may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers, and/or waking nights.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and commit to pursuing an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the assistance of our Training Academy.

Upon joining our team, you will need to register with the SSSC within six months of your start date.
