The Position

As a relief support practitioner, you will be an essential member of our workforce, ensuring that we maintain high standards of care and assistance during staff training, holidays, and unforeseen absences.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with disabilities and/or additional support requirements in all facets of their daily lives, including shopping, financial management, cooking, household chores, and personal care. You may also engage in enjoyable activities with those we support, such as arts and crafts, gardening, cinema outings, dining experiences, swimming, social events, and leisurely walks.

  • Comfort with technology

No prior experience in care is necessary to join our team, as we prioritize values and transferable skills. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the practical knowledge required for this role. We will compensate you for your training and support your pursuit of an SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification.

Shift Availability

We offer continuous support 24/7, which means our shift patterns may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers, and/or waking nights.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and commit to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the assistance of our Training Academy.

Upon joining our team, you will need to register with the SSSC within six months of your employment.
